Hone your scavenging skills as the 12th season of Ninjala begins today. GungHo Online Entertainment’s bubblegum-based ninja action game celebrates the garbage-themed season in steampunk fashion; High Risk High Reward Shinobi Card; and classic fun with a shinobi twist comes to WNA Resort: Ninjala Fishing!
From now until April 26th, don your best airship fashion and drop your line for these exclusive event items:
Fast fashion? More like junk fashion: Another season means a new wardrobe, but you’ve never seen clothes like this one in Ninjala. Put on (but don’t throw away) steampunk-inspired clothes and show off your junk couture.
Roll the dice: The new Shinobi “Gambler Card” is perfect for brawlers who like to test their luck. Unlike most Shinobi cards that have a fixed effect, the Gambler Card gives a different effect each time you respawn.
If you win big, you could get a full recharge of your Gum Ninjutsu or even a powerful Super Armor.
If you’re not so lucky, you could lose everything with debuffs that drain your Ninjutsu charge or reduce your movement speed.
More than one way to catch fish: Pack your tackle box and take a trip to WNA Resort, which now offers a ‘Ninjala Fishing’ activity. You can cast your line in any large body of water, including the ocean or lakes around the resort. Try three types of fishing, each with its own tactics and challenges:
Pole fishing puts you into pushing and pulling fish using a float. Pay attention to your float; as soon as it pulls deep under the water, reel in the line and hook the catch. Be warned: some fish are cunning and will rock the boat to trick you.
Fishing on a board (bait) means moving in harmony with the fish. While you still have to watch the bites and the timing of your line pull, the key is to move the rod back and forth with the fish’s movements. If you want to exhaust the fish and catch it quickly, you can increase the tension of the line, but this will sacrifice its durability.
Spinning (bait) fishing is similar to spinning (bait) fishing, but instead of baiting the fish close to the surface, you will need to hold the bait at the right depth to attract the prey.
Craft the Ultimate Fishing Gear: You can now purchase fishing gear from the Shinobi Shop, including fishing rods, fishing rod skins, and bait. Combine these parts for new ways to catch bigger and better fish. Each rod has its own abilities, such as reducing the fish’s stamina or giving combo bonuses. Certain fish can only be caught with the right bait, so keep an eye on what’s in your tackle box.
Catch Them All: Each player will be given a species catalog called “Aquapedia” to help them keep track of the fish they have or haven’t yet caught. Check the fishing map for tips on where other players have caught big or rare fish to fill out your Aquapedia. Reel in Rewards: Complete fishing missions—including weekly challenges—for extra rewards like bait, research points, Jal and more.
The celebrated Fishing Release campaign begins in Season 12 with special event missions and free bait given with the purchase of fishing rods. The bait corresponds to the type of rod purchased.
Dedicated anglers can enjoy monthly fishing tournaments, including the first-ever “Mackerel Tournament.” From now until February 1st, players from all regions can join the tournament through the Events option on the in-game fishing portal. High ranking players will receive a limited edition badge. The top 2000 players can increase their chances of catching rare fish by using the special “Gumchi” lure.
